36. DMV 4-Stunden-Rennen (4h race) in april:
At his first race his team and him finished 5th place in their category. They were on place 3 with Porsche #66 troughout the race, but a tyre puncture eventually led to a 5th place finish.
42. Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy (6h race) in may:
Christopher couldn't start his second race due to his team mate throwing away the car #5 early in qualifying.
34. RCM DMV Grenzlandrennen (4h race) in july:
Christopher finished 9th place with car #5 at qualifying. During the race he managed to reach 1st place. At the end his team and him finished 4th place overall and 3rd place in their category.
43. ADAC Barbarossapreis (4h race) in september:
Christopher had a technical problem with car #5 at qualifying, but the car was repaired quickly and Christopher reached a lap time of 8:35.931 min and starting position 12. During the race a team mate had fuel problems, for this reason he came to pit and lost a lot of time. This unexpected incident led to position 22! Chris was the 3rd driver of car #5 and had constant and fast lap times (his best was 8:33:360), so he passed lots of cars and managed to finish 9th place overall and 7th place in category SP9.
35. DMV 250-Meilen-Rennen (4h race) in october:
Qualifying session went well but during Christopher’s team mates (Dieter Lehner) turn the steering column broke, however he was able to crawl back into the pits to get it repaired for the race.
Dieter Lehner entered the race from 22nd place. Start went really well – bit of trading paints in the first turn – and gained 2 positions coming out of turn 3. He had a good race pace and was able to keep up with the pack in front.
Nearing the end of Dieters stint, as Chris was just about to get ready for his 9 lap run, news struck the team that Dieter had stopped due to technical problems at “Pflanzgarten”. As two of the team’s mechanics went out to the damaged vehicle, they soon informed the team that the engines crank shaft was broken, resulting in the retirement of #5 Car Collection Porsche 997 GT3 Cup S.
36. DMV Münsterlandpokal (4h race) at end of october:
At the last race of the VLN endurance series Christopher entered the race with 2 new team mates, Tim Tews and Peter Schmidt (team owner).
Christopher ran the 3rd stint in qualifying and clocked 3 laps under the 8mins 30 sec barrier. His fastest lap being a 8.26.698 which was good enough for P16.
Peter Schmidt got into the #5 GT3 CUP S as the first driver and drove a respectable first stint. 2nd driver was Christopher, taking over the car from Peter from P21. After a blistering 9 lap stint, Chris pitted in and Tim Tews took over the wheel from P6.
Tim drove a great last stint until the final lap. P11 looked like a great finishing result for the last race of the championship but while lapping slower cars he ran into the back end of a Renault Clio which unfortunately caused the Car Collection #5 to retire due to mechanical damage.
